The work shall consist of constructing approximately 400 feet of ''I'' concrete flood control wall to a maximum height of approximately 14 feet with a sheet pile cut-off, constructing one new outlet structure, placing approximately 40,000 cubic yards of levee fill, constructing a seepage blanket along the CSX Railroad embankment, relocating existing sanitary sewer and water utilities and constructing a new storm water interior drainage system. The work shall also include various landscaping activities such as asphalt and concrete pedestrian walkways, wooden gazebo, tree and shrub plantings, etc. The duration of the job is 2 years and is estimated in the $2,500,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 range. Bid documents will be available on or about February 22, 1996 at a cost of $75.00 per set. This is not a Small Business set-aside. SIC Code 1629. (For classification purposes: If average annual receipt exceed $17 million, the Classification is Large Business. If annual receipts for preceding three years is less than $17 million, then classification is Small Business.) A Congressional Act directs that a continuing contract be awarded to undertake this work. The FY 1996 Appropriation Bill allows for $800,000.00 to be spent on this project this fiscal year.
