Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE ABATEMENT AT INDEPENDENCE NATIONAL PARK, PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA SOL 1443-CX-2000-96-012 POC Sandie Williamson 303/969-2117 The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center, is seeking a firm capable of removing hazardous materials from the Merchants Exchange Building andother buildings within Independence National Historic Park in Pennsylvania. Material to be removed include asbestos containing materials (ACM), including wall and ceiling plaster, flooring, loose fill building insulation, pipe and ductwork insulation, and light fixture reflective pads; lead based paint (LBP), including removal from concrete floor, plaster walls and ceilings, wood doors andwindows, structural steel and miscellaneous steel; PCB Containing Equipment and related contamination; and bat/avarian excrement. Also included is the general interior demolition of non-hazardous materials, including carpeting, plater and demountable partitions, masonry partitions, elevator, and mechanical and electrical systems. Demolition of non-hazardous materials may include historic fabric. This solicitation cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.This procurement is open to small and large business. To the fullest extent, theNational Park Service welcomes the participation of small business firms, including women and minority owned and operated firms and encourages large business firms to include small business firms as part of their team. If the apparent successful offeror is a large business, they will be required to submita subcontracting plan which will separate percentage goals for using small business concerns and small disadvantaged business concerns subcontractors.
