KACZMAREK, (215)697-9665 Services to provide for inspection, repair, enhancement and associated on-the-job training in same in support of the following aircraft, aircraft weapons systems, airframes, associated equipment and/or other equipment of the Hellenic Air Force as follows: A-7E/TA-7C Wing Cross Section and associated equipment. The proposed procurement is for an estimated one month of training services as currently estimated. The proposed effort will commence 10 weeks after date of contract and continue for a maximum of 60 days. This effort will be covered by a new contract. This period covers the Greek Government's minimum needs for this period. The solicitation will contain a statement of work for the required services. The place of performance is Athens, Greece. The eventual contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Vought Aircraft Company under the authority of FAR 6-302.1. Vought is the only supplier of these services at this time. This firm is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source with the required technical and engineering expertise, ''in-plant'' support, and requisite data base to perform the required services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties should submit, within forty-five (45) days from the publication of this notice, specific factual data; including but not limited to: technical resumes, corporate management experience, and other pertinent information as so desired, to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully perform the required services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive provcurement. The Government will not pay for information received.
