The Government requires modification to item MEMTEST and Boundary Scan Software Tools, Class I CA-209-23, VX single user workstation licenses for the Logic Automated Stimulus and Response (LASR) Version 6 and VX-2 Software in order to support the Government's development of Digital Test Programs Sets (TPS) for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Teradyne Inc., of Boston, MA as the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the MEMTEST & Boundary Scan Intelligent Software is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
