58 -- UPGRADE MOTOROLA PAGING SYSTEM SOL 689-90-96 DUE 031296 POC Contact Point, Mark Phillips, (203)937-3086 The VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Motorola Inc., 251 New Karner Road, Albany, NY for 100 pagers, Model # A03CJC7601A and an upgrade of the existing Motorola Paging System, under authority of FAR 6.302. The upgrade includes new software and computer boards to allow for use of more sophisticated pagers. Responsible sources may respond with their capability to provide these items. Proposals shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at the above address, or they may be faxed to 203-937-3089. All proposals received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to eecompete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely sithin the discretion of the Government.
