The United States Air Force has the intent to issue a solicitation for subscriptions to the 1996 National Electrical Code & Handbook NN-70SB96 (487 each) and 1996 NEC Handbook (14 each). The solicitation will be issued approximately 29 Feb 1996. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use proposal development phase of this acquisition.
