professional diving services to discover and recover batteries at
approximately 120 ATON sites in the Arkansas River System. Requirement
Items are as follows: Unit Bid Item 1: Perform additional 10 ft.
radial search; Unit Bid Item 2: Perform additional sediment sampling;
Unit Bid Item 3: Recovery of additional batteries, and Unit Bid Item 4:
Small Boat Operations. Performance period is estimated to begin on or
about 10 June 1996. Currently, the completion date has not been
established but will be included in the solicitation package. There is
a non-refundable deposit required in the amount of $50.00 per
solicitation package. Personal checks are not accepted. Certified
checks, cashiers checks or money orders will be accepted. Make check
payable to U.S. Coast Guard. No telephone requests will be accepted;
only written requests received along with the bid deposit will be
accepted directly from the requestor. Anticipated bid opening date is
on or about 27 March 1996. Please do not call to verify the bid opening
date. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be
considered by the agency. The small business size standard for this
contract is 7389 and the average size standard is $5.0 million. This is
an unrestricted procurement and is open to both small and large
businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness
