(FAA) has a requirement to accomplish test equipment repair and
calibration for the FAA Logistics Center. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code is 7629. The resulting contract will include
FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, and 52.217-9, Option
to Extend the Term of the Contract. The contractor shall provide all
services, personnel, material, supplies, supervision, labor, and
equipment, except that specified as Government furnished, required to
operate the Test Equipment Repair and Calibration workcenter at the
Mike Monroney Aernautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK. The
contract will be an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type
contract for a one (1) year period and with four (4) 1-year options.
This requirement will be processed using full and open competitive
procedures. Award will be based on greatest value to the Government.
Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal to be
evaluated using criteria as set forth in the RFP. A pre-proposal
conference will be held will be held approximately 30 days after
issuance of the RFP in Oklahoma City, OK, including a tour of the
workcenter and a question and answer period. For Minority, Women-Owned
and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of
Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contacts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
