Carney (Site Code W31XNJ) The work consists of maintenance dredging on the Tennessee-Tom Waterway and Bendways, Black Warrior, Tombigbee Rivers, Alabama River, Mississippi and Alabama. The principal location for performance of work under this contract will be the Tennessee-Tom Waterway, Alabama and Mississippi. This work will require dredging to depths of 12 feet or greater over varying channel widths. The dredge material will have to be transported to disposal areas at distances up to 11,000 feet from the dredging site at lifts as high as 70 feet. This contract will be restricted to 20-inch to 24-inch dredges due to long line length requirements and high lifts existing at locations on the river system.
