The EMCS is an INFOSCAN (A-900) presently installed at Bldg 73 with workstation and graphics. Contractor shall expand the existing EMCS as a distribution processing network and integrate all expansion hardware and software with the existing system. Field interface devices (FIDS) and multiplexers (MUXs) shall be provided. The Data Transmission Media (DTM) shall be provided and integrated into existing EMCS communication system. The integrated expanded system shall provide operator interaction and dynamic process manipulation, including overall total system supervision, coordination and control.
