The Social Security Administration requires contractor services to remove old carpet and install Government furnished new carpet tiles and of contractor furnished vinyl tiles on the 3rd floor of the Harold Washington Social Security Center, 600 West Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661. The successful contractor will be required to provide all material (except Government furnished carpet tile), labor, management, supervision, tools and equipment necessary to complete the task specified in the solicitation. Approximate area to be carpeted and tiled is 4,562 square meters. Contractor will be required to move furniture and other equipment during performance of this contract. Work will be performed only on weekends. A general site visit and walk-through for all bidders will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 1996 at 10:00 AM.
