This project involves both the design and construction phases to replace a CFC chiller with an energy efficient, non-CFC chiller. Existing chiller Number 1 shall be removed, chiller Number 2 to remain. Demolition includes the existing condenser water and chilled water pumps, starters, etc. Existing cooling tower and condenser water pipes to be removed. New work involves the installation of new chiller, pumps for both chillers, new cooling tower, new condenser water piping, and a building management system. Any electrical work incidental to new work is included. Government bid acceptance time will be ninety (90) days. Anticipated solicitation issue date is March 27, 1996. Specifications and Plans will be limited to three (3) sets per contractor base on availability.
