The Government is soliciting information on commercially available (non-developmental item) traverse and elevation mechanisms (T&E) for the M2 Machine Gun (MG) and MK19 Grenade Machine Gun (GMG). Improvements are desired in the areas of accuracy, stability, speed and ease of use, and facilitation for range card preparation. Application for required use is, as a minimum, the M3 Tripod. The top of the T&E must interface with the M2 MG and the MK 64 Cradle which mounts the MK 19 GMG, and the lower end must interface with the traverse bar of the M3 Tripod. No award will be made as a result of this Market Survey which is for informational purposes only.Interested contractors are invited to submit the following information at no COST or obligation to the Government: Company name, address, point of contact, and telephone number, item nomenclature, item description, brochures/literature, specifications, material breakdown, performance and reliability information, availability/status (i.e., in production, pre-production, etc.), COST.
