The Federal Bureau of Investigation is contemplating adding the following items to Contract #J-FBI-95-249 with Simunition, Ltd. for Paint Ball Ammunition and Drop-In Barrel kits. The procurement resulting in award of this contract was advertised in the Commerce Business Daily as a sole source to Simunition Ltd. The requirement was sole source based upon no other source could meet the needs of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The contract type is Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity. The following is a list of items that will be added on the existing contract: Conversion kits for Browning High Power guns, Smith & Wesson 59 series, and MP5 Submachine guns. If any vendor can provide conversion kits for these weapons please submit a letter of capability within 15 days after the date of this publication. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. If no responses are received, a modification will be issued to contract# 95-249 incorporating the above-listed items. (0036)
