Item is a Flight Safety part. Required delivery is 24 each by 20 May 1997 and 24 each per month thereafter. FOB Origin to XU Transportation Officer, Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna, New Cumberland, PA and XU trans Ofc, Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX. An Indefinite Quantity Type contract is requested. A five-year ordering period shall apply: 216 units as first year quantity, 96 units for each of the four yearly ordering periods which follow. Contract minimum quantity is 216 each, maximum quantity is 600 each. The solicitation will request offers with and without First Article Test requirements. Requirements of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and Serial Number Assignment Program (SNAP) will apply to the contract. Containers will be Government-furnished. This procurement requires prequalification. Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit qualification documentation in accordance with procedures contained in Section L of the solicitation. This proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings. It is restricted to the following approved source: MDHS, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitations.
