70 -- CROSS ACCESS DATA BASE ACCESS SOFTWARE POC Contact Terry Kraker, (309) 782-8570, Contract Specialist The Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with cross access Corporation, one towerlane, SUITE 2410, oakbrook terrace, IL 60181 renewal of software licenses for the approximate period 01 may 96 through 30 Sep 96 for the following data base access software components to be used on AMDAHL 5995-1100a and AMDAHL 5995-1400a CPU: 3 each kernal, component 3010 EA on 1100a and 1 on EA 1400a); 3 each application interface, component 2010 (2 EA on 1100a and 1 EA on 1400a); 3 each interface for TCP/iplu6.2, component 4010 (2 EA on 1100a and 1 EA on 1400a); 3 EA adk fcobol, component 1020 (2 EA on 1100a and 1 EA on 1400a); 1 each DA Custom management system interface module (dmsi) for IDMS, component 5015 (on 1100a); 2 each dmsi for Model 204, component 5014 (2 EA 1100a); 2 EA dmsi for sequential access (qsam) (2 EA on 1100a) 4 each dmsi for VSAM, component 5012 (3 EA on 1100a and 1 EA on 1400a); and 2 each open data base connectivity (odbc) drives, component 701 software must meet the following minimum requirements: Must be odbc standard compliant and support ANSI standard fips complaint SQL; must only require a single odbc driver on client PC; must support both TCP/ipand saa LU6.2 appc protocols; must be microsoft certified, and must be capable of accessing all dbms platforms in use and RIA. The dbms platforms in use at RIA are: Tier I-IDMS and datacom by computerassociates, system 2000 by SAS institute, IMS by IBM, Model 204 by praxis International, VSAM by IBM, and dmr; tier II-ORACLE, Informix, sybase, info, btrieve, raima (DB-VISTA), progress, and non-stop SQL; and tier III-dbase. A one year option for the period 01 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97 shall be included. Software in use at defense mega Center rockisland. Other interested firms able to meet these requirements are invited to submit responses, but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to Rock Island Arsenal, Attn: Siori-CTA/terrykraker, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. Responses must include at aminimum Brand name of software products, part number/product number, specifications for product(S), customer support policy, purchase costs, pricing data, discounts, warranty, renewal/maintenance costs, for fiveyears, and GSA contract number, if any.
