The work includes repair of pavement on portions of East Matthews and Radford Boulevards, Radford Loop and Cash and Collum Avenues at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Georgia. Pavement repair shall be accomplished by two methods. Approximately 9,175 linear feet of existing 24-foot wide roadway shall be repaired by removing 1-1/2 inches of the existing surface course by cold-milling and placing 1-1/2 inches of GDOT Type F Surface course. The milled material may be re-used in the new pavement courses. Approximately 4,700 linear feet of existing 24-foot wide roadway shall be repaired by complete removal of the existing surface course and soil-cement base course and replacing with 8 inches of GDOT Graded Aggregate Base Course, 1-1/2 inches of GDOT Type B Modified Intermediate Course and 1-1/2 inches of GDOT Type F Surface Course. Approximately 6800 square yards of existing subgrade shall be repaired by removing unsuitable material and placing and compacting new material. All repaved areas shall be marked using GDOT Painted Pavement Marking Materials. Incidental related work is also included. Estimated cost is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 120 days for completion. This procurement is classified as unrestricted. (033)
