19 -- ALUMINUM WORK BOAT FOR USE AT GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, UTAH SOL IB-1270-96-003. Due 040196. Contact Mary Sampson, Procurement Technician, 303/969-2750. The National Park Service (NPS) has a requirement for an all aluminum work boat with an enclosed rear cabin and forward deck for working area. This boat will be used at the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for navigational aids activities. The boat will be constructed and welded from marine aluminum. This boat will be approximately forty feet long with a fourteen foot beam. There shall be twin diesel inboard engines with out drive units. Construction and delivery will be in a six month period from time of award. This acquisition is solicited under full and open competition.
