The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), DD, NSWC, intends to award a sole-source contract to Bill West, Inc. for processing system hardware, software, and related support for the Countermeasures Delivery Vehicle (CDV). Expanding mission requirements necessitate an increase in the processing capability of the CDV. The following items are required: WVME163-66-004-02 68060 CPU Card w/2 IP Slots (2 each); WVME163-EXP4IP Daughter Card w/4 IP Slots (2 each); WVME163-OS-0 Software (1 each); WVME1163-0S9-EX-AS Annual Support for OS-9 (1 each); TKT681268E1 OS-9 Toolkit (1 each); TKT681268E1-AS Annual Support for OS-9 Toolkit (1 each); WVME922-08-500-13-08 VME 6U Enclosure (2 each); HD-0102 SCSI Hard Drive (2 each); FD235H5911 3.5'' SCSI Floppy Disk Drive (2 each); TDC-3660 250MB SCSI Tape Drive (2 each); Fastrak for Windows 5 Seat License (1 each); Support for Fastrak for Windows 5 Seat License (1 each); and, Plus 1 Advanced Telephone Support for 1 Year (1 each). These items are being procured on a sole source basis to ensure full compatibility with the existing CDV processing card, which was manufactured by Bill West, Inc. Delivery of all hardware is anticipated within 30 days after contract award. The Government intends to award a contract using small purchase procedures. Although the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to repsond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0037)
