Procurement actions are being taken to procure an estimated quantity of 40,000 each ``Fiberboard Boxes for Traypack/UGR'' use with delivery point of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The materials required shall adhere to the following specifications: glued, constructed in accordance with Style RSC-L, grade V3C of ASTM D 5118/D 5118M EXCEP that they shall be restricted to C-Flute construction; single wall; weather resistance; 350 PSI bursting strength; inside dimensions of 23 3/4'' L x 13 1/4'' W x 9'' H. All interested parties are requested to make their interest known so that a ``schematic'' drawing can be faxed to them showing further detail. It is expected that the contract awardee will be able to provide the required boxes within a two week period from date of notice of award. All responsible sources able to provide the boxes in accordance with the specs & drawings (as cited in this notice) are invited to respond by contacting the above listed address either via mail or fax (717-770-5689) Request that the following data be included by all interested parties: (a) statement affirming compliance to the specs & drawings cited; (b) applicable unit pricing (the government estimates the order to be for a total quantity of 40,000 boxes, but the government also reserves the right to order a lesser quantity should it become necessary); and (c) estimated delivery time frame. In addition, all offerors are hereby being informed that prices quoted are to be at FOB: Destination rates (meaning that the government shall not incur nor be liable for any other costs other than the unit prices quoted). All correspondence in regards to this procurement action shall bear: (a) the Contract Specialist's name (Richard Woodworth); and (b) the synopsis number (#SYN-01-96). Please be advised that all offerors are requested to respond, with their offered pricing, and provide all data as requested not later than 1:00 pm (EST) on 29 February 1996.
