Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators. Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of two Bell 206BIII or equal aircraft, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire suppression programs. One helicopter will be for the approximate period June 16, 1996 to September 13, 1996 with a designated base of Vale, Oregon. The second helicopter will be required for the approximate period June 15, 1996 to September 8, 1996, designated base, Elko, Nevada. The term of each contract will be one year with options to renew for two additional years. This notice supersedes an early notice which contained a clerical error in specifying a Bell 206BLIII helicopter to be based at Vale, Oregon. Requests for this solicitation shall be in writing and mailed to the above address or facsimile requests will be accepted at 208-387-5780. Closing date to be established when solicitation is issued.
