Y -- FY96 DLA REPLACE HYDRANT FUELING AT MCGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, WRIGHTSTOWN, N.J. SOL DACA51-96-B-0019 DUE 041096 POC Michael McHugh, Contract Specialist, 212-264-5995. This is an UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. Construct a new fully operational, automatic pressurized stainless steel hydrant fuel system including new hydrant refueling outlet pits, drain pits, vent pits, isolation valve pits and cathodic protection. The new fuel delivery system replaces an existing system whose piping will be abandoned in place. The new system will be installed under the existing apron area pavement. The pavement will be cut and replaced for the new installation. Any excavated contaminated soil will be removed and disposed of as per NJDEP and EPA requirements. In addition, the existing pumphouse will be rebuilt. This includes replacing the pumps, piping, valves, and filters. The building's access roadway will be demolished and replaced. A new storm sewer will be provided along the new roadway and will tie into the existing storm drainage system. A new sanitary line will be provided for the pumphouse. It includes an oil water separator, lift station and force main. The project also includes a new microprocessor based control system housed in a new building. In addition, new static grounding for each aircraft parked on the apron and the replacement of an electrical shelter that houses transformers is also part of this project.
