quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this
pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for an
indefinite quantity contract for roof repairs at various locations on
Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, removing debris from roof area,
removing existing roofing materials (including roofing materials that
may contain asbestos and lead paint), removing and renewing flashings,
gutters, down spouts and deteriorated roofing members (e.g. sheathing,
insulation, fascia boards, trims, cant strips, purlins, rafters, etc);
removing and reinstalling solar panels, repairing and renewing the
following types of roofing: asphalt shingle roofing, wood shake and
shingle roofing, performed metal roofing, aggregate surfaced bituminous
built-up roofing, smooth surfaced bituminous built-up roofing,
mineral-surfaced bituminous built-up roofing, modified bitumen,
prepared roll roofing, and other incidental related work using
predetermined labor prices and adjusted material prices by means of an
indefinite quantity contract. The term of the contract will be a
twelve month base period plus two option years. The government will not
synopsize the options when exercised. The total term of the contract,
including all options, will not exceed 36 months. The government may
award this contract to more than one contractor. The government will
give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on
criteria stated in the solicitation. Estimated cost: $1,000,000.00 to
$5,000,000.00. This contract will replace a contract for similar
services awarded in 1995 for $2,845,552.50. We will include information
about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., award
date and amount, value of last option exercised, etc) with the
solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom of
Information Act to provide this general information. Provide street

their bid. SIC Code 1761 applies. This solicitation requires big
