The work consists of the following principle features: Replace the existing natural gas distribution system in the Capehart/MCP Family Housing area at F.E. Warren AFB, WY. Work includes but is not limited to selective demolition, installation of new plastic gas mains and laterals, new valves, new meters, connection of new piping to existing building services, and other incidental work necessary to provide a complete new gas distribution system. Performance period for a firm fixed price construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 120 days. Invitation for Bid (IFB) is limited and will be furnished to the requestor on a first-received, first-serviced basis until supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. The issue date will be on or about 15 Feb 96 with bid opening date 30 days after issuance. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
