The Contractor shall provide instructional services to students assigned by the Naval Education and Training Command (NAVEDTRACOM) using government furnished materials and methodologies to produce a graduate who satisfies the Navy undersea warfare mission. These services shall include instructor, maintenance and training support. Instructor services shall include instruction for approximately 175 courses of instruction, curriculum development and maintenance in the functional areas of Fire Control, HME-Electrical, HME-Mechanical, Sonar, Sub-Communication, Sub-Navigation/EW, SWS-Navigation, SWS-Weapons, Torpedo, and other functional areas as required by the Government. Contractor personnel shall be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of training equipment, trainer unique equipment, technical training equipment and mockups, audio-visual equipment, computers, printers, modems, closed circuit television, camcorders, and other training support equipment. The Contractor shall also be responsible for administration, operation and maintenance of Learning Resource Centers, technical publication libraries, Local Area Networks (LAN), students scheduling and management, building security, as well as supply and fiscal functions. Initial performance period 02/01/97 through 09/30/97 includes one two-month mobilization period with six months of instructor, maintenance and training support. Four one-year options for FY 98 through FY 01 are included. Secret Clearance will be required. Contractors shall show satisfactory experience within the past five years in conducting training support programs in a military training environment including, overall management experience. This requirement was previously published as a sources sought synopsis with a draft SOW and solicitation furnished. Parties who requested the previous draft documents on N61339-96-R-0010 will be included in the source list for the formal solicitation and need not submit another request.
