Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, a Sole Source, Cost type, Letter Contract will be issued to the National Academy of Sciences, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20418. The contractor will design, plan, implement, and evaluate professional development and follow-up for the Defense Reinvestment Initative (DRI). A series of professional development, leadership training, and mentoring activities will be designed. All of the activites will be aligned with the national content, teaching, and assessment standards for science and mathematics education.
