The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a requirement for a Hamamatsu C5680 Streak Camera System or an equivalent Streak Camera System. The streak camera to be purchased must meet or exceed the salient characteristics of the following C5680 system from Hamamatsu Photonic Systems: Part No. C5680-31, Streak Camera Main Body (6 mm S-20/UV) with video output or equivalent, Part No. M5677, Slow Sweep Unit, 5ns to 1ms full screen, Part No. A1976-01, UV-IR, 1:1 Magnification Input Optics, Part No. HPD-TA, Streak Image Analysis software for IBM PC/AT, and Part No. ITI-AFG/V, Interface for IBM PC and C3077 (with monitor). The following optional upgrade components or accessories must be available as follows: (1) An additional module to extend the single sweep range down to at least 200ps full scale (with ( 2ps resolution), equivalent to or better than the Hamamatsu M5676 Fast Single Sweep Unit, (2) Upgrade to a higher resolution (12 bit/single shot) cooled CCD camera, equivalent to or better than the Hamamatsu C4880-11 Dual Mode Cooled CCD camera with A2886-03 Output Optics and A147-11 Mount Table, (3) Fast PIN trigger photodiode with .5ns risetime and 400 to 1100 nm response, equivalent to or better than the Hamamatsu C1083-01 PIN photodiode, (4) Variable delay unit, providing trigger pulse delay from 0 to at least 30ns, with 30ps resolution, equivalent or better than the Hamamatsu C1097-01 Delay Unit, and (5) Upgrade of the computer interface for use under the Windows 95 operating system, potentially on a Pentium based IBM compatible PC using the PCI bus standard. The system will be delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. This system must be delivered to NSWCDD 90 days from date of contract award.
