Panknin (817) 288-1305 (Site Code DATM01) This is a notice of intent to contract on an other than full and open competitive basis with ACM System, 9838 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, CA for the production of thirty-five new improved field data collectors. ACMS designed, developed, prototyped, and produced twenty-eight units of a unique, one-of-a-kind instrumentation system, known as the field data collector (FDC); delivered in December 1994. ACMS is currently, as of December 1995, modifying the twenty-eight for the army. Delivery of the new improved units are required by Mid June 1996 in order to support two major systems operational test scheduled to commence the end of June 1996. A technical data package is not due to be delivered to the Government until approximately May 1996. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the requirement, make contact with the firm listed.
