Westinghouse Hanford Company (WHC) is seeking one or more companies interested in taking a license to a federally-developed, low cost, radioactive materials packaging. The packaging meets Department of Transportation (DOT Specification 7A). International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) requirements for Type A liquid radioactive materials. The compact design provides flexibility in material volume (up to 1 liter) and in shielding thickness (up to 1.5 inches steel).
