Rainey, (202)260-8508 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), plans to extend its current Warehouse Operations and Labor Support Services, EPA Contract No. 68-W0-0016 with Transcontinental Inc., Post Office Box 128, Dunn N.C. 28334. These services support ten (10) EPA facilities located in the Washington, D.C. metro area and include providing for the operation of EPA's warehouse and include shipping, receiving, storage (both on-site and off-site), moving and relocation services, and associated minor maintenance services. The planned contract extension is for a three (3) month period, effective April 1, 1996 to June 30, 1996, with a total estimated labor hours of 37,000. A solicitation for the follow-on contract is currently in process, and was initially advertised in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) on October 21, 1994 under RFP No. W500002-A2, with subsequent solicitation notices published in the CBD on August 13, 1995 and October 3, 1996.
