The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for instructors to provide training materials, training aids and transportation to instruct hazardous waste coordinators on safe handling procedures and management of hazardous waste at various locations in Kodiak and Anchorage, AK; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Honolulu, HI and Alameda, CA. All instructors must comply with requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Hazardous Material Transportation Uniform Safety Act. Approximately 5 basic and 6 refresher courses will be conducted per contract period. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The tentative performance period is Sep 1996 through Dec 2000 with four option periods. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
