5011, Emergency On-Call Engineering Field Support Services. This is a
market survey to locate companies with in place resident engineering
expertise capable of responding to immediate emergency engineering
field support services for the AN/GSC-52; AN/GSC-39; AN/GSC-49;
AN/FSC-78; AN/FSC-79; and AN/TSC-86 Satellite Terminals; OE-170/G;
OE-222/G; OE-371/G Satellite Antenna Systems; OG-163/G RF Amplifiers;
MD-920 ICF; MD-921 PSK; MD-1002 QPSK and OM-73/g Modems; MD-1131/G;
MD-1132/G and MD-1133/g Anti-Jam Control Modems; TS-3461/G Digital Test
Set; TS-3462/G Error Rate Counter; MX-9922/G Alpha Flunk/Bid Error
Monitor and Electronic Counter Counter Measure (ECCM) Software, all of
which are part of the Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS),
which in turn is part of the Defense Communications System (DCS). The
emergency service will include but not be limited to problem analysis,
repair, test and redeployment of the aforementioned equipment at
designated locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and
overseas (OCONUS). Defense Information System Agency (DISA) requires
that strategic Satellite Communications link have an operational
availability equal to or greater than 0.999. The eventual time and
materials contract will be awarded at 00 dollars and will be
incrementally funded by individual modifications as the services are
required. Performance to begin on or about 1 Oct 96. Interested

ARMY COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICS COMMAND (CECOM) HAS ESTABLISHED AN
ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARD (EBB) TO PROVIDE ELECTRONIC TRANSMITTAL OF
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFPs) AND INVITATIONS FOR BIDS (IFBs) FROM
GOVERNMENT TO INDUSTRY. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES WISHING TO DO BUSINESS
WITH CECOM ARE INVITED TO ACCESS, OPERATE, SEND AND RECEIVE DATA FROM
THE CECOM EBB SYSTEM. TO BECOME A USER OF THE EBB, YOU WILL NEED AN
IDENTIFICATION CODE AND PASSWORD IN ADDITION TO A COMPUTER TERMINAL
EQUIPPED WITH THE NECESSARY HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE TO INTERFACE WITH THE
EBB SYSTEM. A USER'S IDENTIFICATION CODE AND PASSWORD WILL BE ISSUED
UPON REQUEST ALONG WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING THE EBB USER'S
MANUAL. ALL REQUESTS MUST INCLUDE (1) COMPANY NAME, (2) POINT(s) OF
CONTACT NAME(s) AND TITLE(s), (3) RETURN ADDRESS(es) AND (4) TELEPHONE
