The Marine Corps Systems Command has a requirement for up to 2,030 power supplies and associated provisioning. Intended use will be to supply power to field transportable HF and VHF radios and other tactical equipment that requires 24 - 28 VDC power source. The power supplies will be military ruggedized, 24 - 28 VDC, 0 - 60 amperes, and conform to Type II, Class 2, Style A and color S in accordance with MIL-T-28800 for outdoor and vehicular use. Additional conformance requirements include a Mean Time Between Operational Failure of no less than 50,000 hours and a unit weight not to exceed 39.9 kg (88 lbs). A Delivery Order contract is anticipated with a minimum ordering quantity of 200 units. TWO BID SAMPLES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR TECHNICAL EVALUATION AND CONFORMANCE TESTING.
