Will request interested vendors to provide at least three (3) published medical journal studies verifying claims of accuracy over wide range of conditions found in open heart institutions. Minimum requirements are continuous cardiac output measurement capacity; 2% drift of SVO2 in 24 hours; digital signal filtering to filter out vessel wall artifact to eliminate baseline drift (noise/signal averaging technique is not acceptable); continuous cardiac output must correlate with thermodilution bolus CO data; monitor must remain accurate regardless of changes in hemoglobin.
