NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center is interested in determining the availability of sources for a competitive procurement for spacecraft supporting NASA's Medium-Class Explorer (MIDEX) missions. Spacecraft specifications are not yet available, however, a description of the MIDEX program is contained in NASA Announcement of Opportunity AO-95-055-02 dated March 27, 1995. This AO and its Appendices are available electronically from the NASA FTP server. You can connect from an Internet host with the command ''ftp.mercury.hq.nasa.gov''. You should use ''anonymous'' for the user name, and enter your email address for the password. Files containing the AO and the Appendices in various formats are located in a directory entitled ''/pub/astrophysics/AOs/MIDEX''. Download the file entitled ''README'' which contains a listing of the MIDEX AO files and information about retrieving the files electronically. This is not a Request for Proposal and should not be construed as a commitment by the government. Draft copies of any future RFPs may be made available to potential sources for review and comment in the upcoming months.
