(703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a
provisioned item order under the Integrated Defensive Electronic
Countermeasures (IDECM) engineering and manufacturing development
contract with Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, to support thermal
testing of the IDECM Fiber Optic Towed Decoy (FOTD) at the Arnold
Engineering Development Test Center wind tunnel complex. The IDECM FOTD
will be tested to evaluate thermal dissipation under flight conditions
using various angles of attack/roll and several conditions of altitude
and mach commensurate with the various prospective U.S. Navy and U.S.
Air Force IDECM platforms. This synopsis is for informational purposes
