Services will include the isolation and purification of constituent components from bacterial provided by the government. Ms. Uma Rajamani, 10230 Hickory Ridge Rd, Columbia, MD is the only source possessing qualifications and experience in several state of the art technologies. Proposed contractor is versatile in techniques such as electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatography, isolation and purification of biopolymers, MALDI-MS methodology, high resolution MS instrumentation, protein chemistry, enzymatic degradations of proteins, cell lysis, chemical analysis, analysis of biological samples including sample preparations, spectrophotometry, and writing skills for technical publications, technical posters, and technical presentations. Proposed contractor already has training in one of the biological mass spectrometry laboratories at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD., precluding additional government training expense.
