R -- COMPENSATED WORK THERAPY/VETERANS INDUSTRIES BOOKKEEPING SERVICES SOL IFB 689-93-96 DUE 032996 POC Contact Point, Michele Pompane, (203)937-3079 The Department of Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System is seeking to procure bookkeeping services for our Compensated Work Therapy Program/Veterans Industries. Tasks may include calculating employee wages from time sheets and preparing checks for payment of wages, summarizing details in separate ledgers or computer files and transferring data to general ledger using calculator or computer, reconciling and balancing accounts, verifiying, allocating and posting details of business transaction to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents, such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts, and preparing State and Federal 1099 income forms. Computer programs Microsoft Excel, Word and Great Plains Profit will be used in the performance of this contract. Contract will be for a one year period with two one-year options to renew. This procurement is a small business set-aside; see Note 1. This procurement is also subject to the availability of funds.
