The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Office of Geodetic Survey has a requirement for the preparation of Airport Obstruction Charts. Preparation of the charts includes: negative engraving; typesetting; type stick-up; litho/photographic contacting; quality control inspection; and packaging and shipping of an estimated 100 charts per year consisting of 50 front side charts and 50 front and back side charts. An eight (8) time reduction negative of each chart ordered will also be required. The contractor will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of Government-furnished materials and work orders from Silver Spring, Maryland. All pick-ups must be made within 24 hours from the time of notification from the Government. A fixed-price requirements contract is proposed for this procurement cosistin of one (1) base year and four (4) one year option periods. Requests for the solicitation (RFP) must be submitted in writing. Telephone requests will not be honored. This procurement may be set-aside for small business concerns if an adequate number of responses are received from small business concerns capable of fulfilling the requirements of the solicitation. The small business size standard for this procurement is 5 million dollars and the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7389.
