U -- INSTRUCTIONAL TRAINING SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE NAVY'S COMMAND AIRCRAFT CREW TRAINING (CACT) PROGRAM SOL N61339-96-R-0026 DUE 042996 POC Ms. Lisa Mackin at (407) 380-4047 or Ms. Mary Lee Schuck at (407) 380-4031 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Flight Safety International, Flushing, NY, for academic and simulator instructional services (initial and refresher training courses) in support of the Navy's C-9B, CT-39E/G, CT-39D and UC-12M commercial aircraft under the Navy's CACT Program. This program includes both classroom and simulator hands-on training. The courses are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and validated by the Navy Aviation Model Manager. Simulators must be FAA certified: Level B or higher for the C-9B; Level A or higher for the CT-39E/G; Level A for the CT-39D; and Level C or higher for the UC-12M. An indefinite quantity contract is anticipated with a 60-month period of performance. (0040)
