The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking proposals from relocation firms experienced in providing professional services for a government agency. The Contractor shall provide a relocation services program consisting of regular home sale assistance, amended home sales assistance (guaranteed market value) and marketing assistance to employees of the Federal Bureau of Prisons who relocate. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is 3/18/96. The estimated closing date for the solicitation is 4/22/96. The anticipated term of the contract includes a one-year base period, and four one-year option periods. The estimated quantities per year for the base period, and each option period are estimated 493 regular home sales and estimated 357 amended home sales. The BOP relocates about 2,200 employees per year. Approximately 850 employees use the home sale assistance program. The performance period shall be a base period of 10/1/96 through 9/30/97, option year one shall be 10/1/97 through 9/30/98, option year two shall be 10/1/98 through 09/30/99, option year three shall be 10/1/99 through 09/30/00, option year four shall be 10/1/00 through 09/30/01. All responsible sources meeting the requirements listed in the solicitation may submit a proposal.
