The work includes selective demolition and repair of approximately forty-four (44) sections of deficient structural steel trusses and bridging. The repaired joints will require spray-on fire proofing. Special instructions: To minimize the impact on the building tenants and courts' daily operations, this project will require work after normal business hours which are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In addition, the work will take place in occupied space and therefore must be returned at the end of each day to a safe, clean, and workable condition so as not to cause disruption to the occupants daily tasks. Project location: Poff Federal Office Building & U.S. Courthouse, 210 Franklin Road, Roanoke, VA 24011.
