Craig, GP56/Contracting Officer The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to perform the modifications for electrical switchgear in the Multi-Purpose High-Bay Facility (Building 4755) -- The work consists of constructing an addition extending from the north side of Building 4755 to house electrical switchgear and electrical power panels -- An emergency generator and fuel tank will be located adjacent -- The building will be approximately 40 by 20 feet (6 by 12 meters) -- This addition will provide a 200 kW, 250 kVA, standby diesel generator -- Modification and upgrade to the building's existing switchgear are also needed -- Architecturally, the exterior will consist of prefinished insulated metal sandwich panels with a prefinished sloped standing seam metal roof -- Worksite is the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, AL -- The standard industrial classification code for this procurement is 1731 (Electrical) -- Period of performance is 180 calendar days -- Estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 -- Firms responding to this ad will be provided the solicitation package with drawings and specifications -- The bid opening date will be contained in the solicitation -- All request for the solicitation package must be in writing.
