Modification to Sources Sought Synopsis Published 6 Apri 1995-Procurement for AN/TRN-45 MMLS Warranty Augmentation Supply/Support for MMLS System. ESC is planning to procure warranty augmentation support for 33 AN/TRN-45, Mobile Microwave Landing Systems (MMLS), to complete the MMLS supply/support structure for the three year period of warranty (basic w/two one year options). Interested firms should respond by indicating their ability to meet the screening criteria outlined in the 6 April 1995 Synopsis as well as the following criteria. Firms must all have the capability and background to perform the following specific tasks. 1) Provide warranty augmentation support beginning no later than 1 January 1996. 2) Perform hardware and software configuration management. 3) Transition supply/support to Government and update reprocurement data. 4) Consolidate, package and ship MMLS readiness spares packages. 5) Repair, replace and test items not covered under warranty. 6) Procure additional inventory spares. 7) Incorporate Government approved design changes for the MMLS hardware and software. Interested firms are requested to submit a statement of their qualifications along with supporting documentation to ESC/TGK, 11 Eglin Street, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2120, Attn: Ms. Gail Oliver. Responses must be received no later than 30 days after the date of this publication and should not exceed ten (10) pages. Firms should indicate if they qualify as a small disadvantaged business. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute an IFB or RFP, nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will solicit those firms meeting the screening criteria in the synopsis. Any offeror initially judged to be unqualified will be provided a copy of the solicitation on request, and any offer such a firm might submit will be evaluated without predjudice.
