The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking a contractor to provide for the operation of the receiving/delivery, supply store, warehousing, mailroom, and duplicating services for its facilities in Research Triangle Park, NC. This requirement is a total small business set-aside with a SIC code of 8744 and a size standard of $20 million in average annual receipts over the last three years. It is anticipated that a fixed price contract, with a 12 month base period and four option periods of 12 months each, will be issued. A DRAFT solicitation is expected to be issued on approximately 3/12/96 with comments due approximately 15 days after issuance. A FORMAL solicitation should be issued around 4/9/96 with proposals due approximately 30 days from issuance. This acquisition will NOT be processed under FAR Part 12. For information purposes, this effort is currently being performed under contract no. 68D20001 with Transcontinental Enterprises, Inc. (TEI) which expires 9/30/96. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the DRAFT solicitation by submitting a written request. Firms must identify their size status when requesting a copy of the solicitation. Firms who fail to do so shall be considered to be large businesses. A limited number of copies are available. Only one copy shall be issued to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. Copies will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. A copy of the preliminary source list will be issued to all prospective offerors along with the solicitation. A separate request is not necessary. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. No telephonic or faxed requests will be honored (0043)
