This acquisition to provide support to the PEO-ASM for the execution of their Weapon Systems Acquisition Mission is restricted to 8(A) eligible offerors only. This action reflects a change in the acquisition from the original synopsis published in the Commerce Business Daily on January 4, 1996. Another change in the acquisition strategy is that a draft RFP will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code to be used is 8711. Offerors are advised that eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional stage. Interested 8(A) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(A) Program.
