219-8706. The work to be performed under this project involves: 1. Roof
repair and replacement for Buildings Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 14 including
membrane repair, roofing replacement, installation of the new flashing,
new roof drains and piping to existing drains. 2. Remove damaged
asbestos-containing pipe and joints insulation in the boiler room,
Building No. 7; replace piping insulation at the Glenmont Job Corps
Center located in Glenmont, New York. Construction time is scheduled
for 168 calendar days. The estimated cost range for construction is
between $100,000 to $250,000. Plans and Specifications will be
available on February 29, 1996, from the office N.K. Bhandari,
Consulting Engineers, P.C., 6713 Pickard Drive, Syracuse, New York

information regarding this project. Collect calls will not be accepted.
It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall be
directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of
requests. All requests must be in writing. Requests will be answered on
a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted. For
requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer
may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable
fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB
documents, plus COD charges. A pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for March
21, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bid-opening date is April 4, 1996,
at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The
Standard Industrial Classifications Code (SIC) is 1761. The size
