Z -- REPLACE ROOF ON FOUR (4) SCREENHOUSES SOL APHIS-6-011 DUE 040996 POC Florine Rossetti, Contracting Officer, 301-734-4706 This work is located at the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Plant Protection and Quarantine, National Plant Germplasm Quarantine Center, Powder Mill Road, Building 580, BARC-East, Beltsville, Maryland. This construction project consists of replacing the roof panels on four screenhouses and connecting alleyway. Major construction items include the following: (1) removal and disposal of existing roof panels and accessories such as flashing, closure strips, fasteners, and caulking; (2) install new twin-walled roof panels; (3) install new 2 X 4 wood bracing to support new panels. Phasing of construction must be coordinated with the facilities Program Project Manager, as only one screenhouse may be re-roofed at a time. Construction periods may only be between March, June, and November of 1996; and March of 1997. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000 (0043)
