574-7153 The United States Army tank-automotive and armaments command
is seeking sources for the acquisition of up to 4,000 M1 ISO-compatible
palletized flatracks (ipfs) in support of the palletized load system
(pls). The ipf SH all be suitable for repeated use with the pls load
hand Ling system and be capable of intermodel movement throu GH the
supply distribution system. The ipf shall be cap able of being loaded
with ammunition and unit equipment such as generators, tank and pump
units, modular containers, loose items, wheeled vehicles and light
tracked vehicles. The Government has designed and built prototyp ES and
drawings of modifications of one the prototypes are the property of the
Government and is available onautocad, release 12 format upon request.
