P/N: N/A, This notice issued to advertise a final Request For Proposal
(RFP) for the AN/TPN-19 Landing Control Center modification. The basic
requirement is to develop, document, install, and test a First Article
modification kit, including all non-recurring engineering services,
hardware, and software. This First Article will then be refurbished and
a planned 9 production modification kits will be procured. One
unsheltered mock-up will be produced to be maintanined at the depot.
Also procured will be 2 years of spares kits, data, and any
familiarzation training needs. The final RFP release date is scheduled
for 29 Feb 96. Bidder's will have 60 calendar days for review of
solicitation to prepare their proposal. If potential offerors have
previously requested information from the Government, they will be sent
a copy of the final RFP. (See below for continuation of Block 17) ea.

Office compatible. In order to facilitate the transfer of these files,
potential bidder's must have Microsoft Word 6.0 installed. Potential
bidder's must run Microsoft Windows and execute the web browser from
Microsoft Windows. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal,
or quotation which shall be considered. The approximate issue/response
date will be 29 Feb 96. The anticipated award date will be 31 Jul 96.
Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone
requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the
requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit
a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. An Ombudsman
has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential
offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The
purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the
program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor
concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the
appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will
maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The
Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the
source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the
